VICTOR CARRILLO, JR.
PHARR – Victor Carrillo Jr., 55, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at his residence in Pharr.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, he had lived in Pharr most of his life and was part owner of Carrillo Investments. Victor was also an active member of the community, serving with Pharr Boys and Girls Club and the PEDC Boards. He served with pride and unselfishness. And will be greatly missed amongst the community.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Ida Carrillo.
Mr. Carrillo is survived by his wife, Ana Carrillo of Pharr; three children, Dr. Sabrina Ann (Steven Calamia) Carrillo, Victor Carrillo III, Alejandro Carrillo, all of Pharr; a granddaughter, Alexandra Renee Calamia; seven siblings, Mario (Adela) Carrillo, Alfredo (Noraima) Carrillo, Connie (Tony) Lozano, Roberto (Dalinda) Carrillo, all of Pharr, Ida Cuellar of San Juan, Sandra (Robert) Gonzalez, Juan Carlos (Karla) Carrillo, both of McAllen; his mother and father in law, Maria and Apolonio Gonzalez of Pharr; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday April 8, 2016, St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
