EDINBURG - Antonio Carrizales, 69, died Saturday, October 22, 2016, at his residence in Edinburg.
Born in Mexico, Mr. Carrizales had lived in McAllen most of his life and was a resident of Edinburg for the past five years. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Carrizales was a hard worker who worked until the last day. He was a carpenter of God.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Paola Carrizales; and two brothers.
Mr. Carrizales is survived by his wife, Rosita Carrizales of Edinburg; six children, Antonio (Dora) Carrizales, Jr. of Edinburg, Sylvia (Eloy) Perez of La Sara, Raymundo Carrizales (Patty Garcia) of Weslaco, Aida (Victor) Castillo of Houston, Araceli Carrizales of La Sara, Rene (Daniela) Carrizales of Minnesota; 15 grandchildren; several siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a7 p.m. prayer service today, October 24, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m.Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
