Eliud Casas

ELIUD CASAS MCALLEN –Our beloved Eliud Casas, 52, went to be with our Father in Heaven after his fight of cancer, February 2, 2014, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Mr. Casas is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Casas Sr.; five brothers, Melquiades Casas, Armando Casas, Manuel Casas, Jr., Erasmo Casas Medrano, Pablo Alfonso Casas; a nephew, Manuel Casas; and his dear niece, Erica Lizzette Casas Vela. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Casas, of McAllen; five children, Eliud Lee (Laura) Casas of Los Angeles, CA., Brandon Eli Casas, Dylan (Jami) Casas, Destiny Amanda Casas, all of McAllen, and Eliud (Judith) Casas, Jr., of Houston, TX; six grandchildren, Jesus, True Warrior, Dylan, Mary Jane Star, Ashley, and Luisa Joeb; his mother, Gualbina Casas, of Alamo; seven siblings, Clementina Casas Lopez, Josefina Casas Carranza, Genoveva Casas Vela, Maria Magdalena Casas, Manuel Angel Casas, Rolando Javier Casas, and Olga Lydia Casas. He was greatly loved and will be missed dearly by his family. Visistation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
