MARIA P. CASAS
ALAMO- Maria P. Casas, 93, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, in Alamo.
Maria was a strong Christian woman. She dedicated her life to her beloved husband and children. She was selfless always blessing others with the little she had. Her smile will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Israel Casas Sr.; and three children.
Mrs. Casas is survived by seven children, Noelia (Pete) Huerta, Baldomero Casas, Armandina Casas, Israel Casas Jr., Enedelia (Santos) Perez, Eleticia (Roy) Nava, all of Alamo, Baldemar (Josie) Casas of Austin; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
