Esmeralda "Bay" Casiano

Esmeralda "Bay" Casiano (Gigi), 71, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at McAllen Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Cruz Casiano; four brothers, Santiago Casiano Jr., Antonio Casiano, Daniel P. Casiano, Luis Casiano; two sisters, Rebecca Garcia, and Lydia Casiano.
Ms. Casiano is survived by her companion, Joseph Bires; two children, Manuel (Cynthia) Vasquez III, Maribel Castaneda Polk; four grandchildren, Samantha Marie Villarreal, Danielle Nicole Trevino, Isaiah Brandon Polk, Adrian Matthew Vasquez; three great-grandchildren, Adyson Bel Aviles, Kaleb Alexander Villarreal, Ian Kash Lopez; four siblings, Hector Casiano, Miraminda Vargas, Josefina Flores, and Paulina Casiano.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. talk Friday, December 17, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
