MARGARITA CASTILLO
SAN JUAN – Margarita Castillo, 81, died Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Nuevo Leon, MX, Mrs. Castillo had lived in San Juan most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Senon Hinojosa and Maria Basaldua; and two siblings, Oscar Basaldua and Martha Castillo.
Margarita is survived by four children, Juan (Sally) Castillo of California, Maria (Juan) Valdez, Guadalupe Guerrero, Trinidad (Irma Celia) Castillo, all of San Juan; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
