Ramona M. Castillo

RAMONA M. CASTILLO PHARR – Ramona M. Castillo, 81, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Born in Dr. Arroyo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, she had lived in Pharr for three years and was formerly of San Juan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Basilio Castillo; her parents, Gabino Martinez and Victoria Ramos; a brother, Julio Martinez; and a sister, Catalina Martinez. Ms. Castillo is survived by three children, Catalina Ventura, of Alamo, Elizabeth Martinez, of Pharr, Esteban Castillo, of Georgia; five grandchildren, Veronica, Delfino Jr., Luis Gerardo, Esteban Jr., Estefany; two great-grandchildren, Mark and April; and two brothers, Hilario Martinez, of Dr. Arroyo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and Francisco Martinez, of Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
