BELIA M. CAVAZOS EDINBURG - Belia M. Cavazos, 82, died Thursday, September 20, 2012, at her residence in Edinburg. Born on October 8, 1929 in Mathis, TX, Belia resided in Edinburg, but lived in Hargill most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Jesus Cavazos; a son, Pablo Cavazos; and a grandson, David Cavazos. Mrs. Cavazos is survived by a son, Diego (Delma) Cavazos; three daughters, Elodia Reyna, Diana (Arnulfo) Lerma, Maria G. Cavazos, all of Edinburg; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters; and four brothers. Visitation will be held from 5 - 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, September 23, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2012, at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Hargill. Interment will follow at Valle de La Paz Cemetery in Hargill. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
