Maria Cruz Cavazos

MARIA CRUZ CAVAZOS SAN JUAN - Maria Cruz Cavazos, 86, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at her residence in San Juan. Born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, she had lived in San Juan most of her life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Gregorio Cavazos. Mrs. Cavazos in survived by five children, Raul Cecilio Cavazos of Alamo, Maria Guadalupe (Javier) Saldana, Jose Luis Cavazos, Rosalinda (Clark) Kay, all of San Juan, Maria Elida (Brian) Jazinski of McAllen; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday January 2, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
