ELOISA “LOCHA” CAZARES EDINBURG — Eloisa “Locha” Cazares, 80, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Cazares was born in Matamoros, Mexico, and had lived in Edinburg since 1956. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rogelio Cazares Rodriguez; and a daughter, Adelaida Castilleja. Locha is survived by seven children, Pedro (Ana Isabel) Cazares, Rosaelia (Rogelio) Martinez, Oralia (Jose) Vega, Sylvia (Joel) Rodriguez, Rogelio (Magdalena) Cazares, Esmeralda Eloisa (+Pedro) Beltran, Ruben Cazares; a son-in-law, Elias Castilleja; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ester Gutierrez Maldonado. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, June 18, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Pallbearers will be Jose Angel Gamboa, Victor Gutierrez, Arnulfo Gutierrez, Cirilo Maldonado, Jaime J. Cazares and Pedro Beltran, III. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
