ROGELIO CAZARES
EDINBURG – Rogelio Cazares, 77, died Thursday, June 24, 2010, at Lifecare Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Dr. Arroyo, N.L. Mexico, Mr. Cazares had lived in Edinburg most of his life and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his a daughter, Adelaida Castilleja and his parents, Pedro and Francisca Cazares.
Mr. Cazares is survived by his wife, Eloisa Cazares of Edinburg; seven children, Pedro Cazares, Rosa (Rogelio) Martinez, Rogelio (Maggie) Cazares Jr, Esmeralda (Pedro) Beltran and Ruben Cazares all of Edinburg, Oralia (Jose) Vega of Olmito, Texas and Sylvia (Robert) Perez of McAllen; 19 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; six brothers, Heriberto Cazares, Antonio Cazares, Francisco Cazares, Pedro Cazares all of Edinburg, Juventino Cazares of Houston, Texas and Victor Cazares of Monterry N.L., Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 pm rosary today, June 27, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2010, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
