Cynthia Ann Cáceres, 40, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Cynthia, a wonderful mother, a very special daughter, sister and amazing friend. She was one of a kind, and though she was only here for a short time; she left an impression on those who knew her. She was a fighter to the end and solely relied on God for her strength. It's by His grace we had her this long, to Him we give the glory.
She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Cáceres; maternal grandma, Edelmira Vallejo; paternal grandparents, Cecilia V. Cáceres and Armando Cáceres.
Ms. Cáceres is survived by her daughter, Jillian Danielle Cáceres; mother, Nydia C. Gonzalez-Rivera; step-father, John A. Rivera; four siblings, Christy Dee (Chad) Flores, Daniel (Miriam) Cáceres II, Michael A. (Isabel) Cáceres, Jada Nicole (Tony) Bratton; step brother, Joseph Garcia; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Memorial service Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
