Armando Celedón

ARMANDO CELEDÓN EDINBURG - Armando Celedón, 62, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Comfort House in McAllen. Mr. Celedón was born in Edinburg and had lived there most of his life. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. On his spare time, Armando enjoyed fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and barbecuing. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He is survived by his wife, Ester Celedón of Edinburg; five children, Carlos (Diana) Celedón of Edinburg, Irma (Fernando Garcia) Celedón of Dallas, TX, Herlinda (Jesus) Celedón of Omaha, NE, Armando E. (Linda) Celedón Sr., and Rachel Celedón, both of Edinburg; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ralph (Isela) Celedón of Alamo, Rodolfo (Sylvia) Celedón, Ruben (Ana) Celedón, Ricardo (Margarita) Celedón, all of Edinburg; two sisters, Esmeralda (Frank) Perales of Sharyland and Nora (Crisanto) Villarreal of Edinburg. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today, May 16, 2013 and from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, May 17, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
