EDINBURG - Amador Celedon, 61, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Celedon was born in Edinburg and spend part of his life living in Mexico.
He is preceded in death by a grandson, Eduardo Celedon; his mother, Socorro Celedon; and a sister, Maria Luisa.
Amador is survived by his wife, Maria Luisa Celedon of Edinburg; four children, Amador (Macaria) Celedon, Jr. of Edinburg, Veronica Celedon (Gerardo) Rodriguez of Houston, Monica (Jose) Maldonado of San Antonio, Eduardo (Itzel) Celedon of Edinburg; 10 grandchildren, Marlene, Val, Brianna, Angel, Little Joe, Nico, Nisa, Yanel, Peter, Alexa; two great-granchildren, Karley and Kaleb; and six siblings.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service and a 7 p.m. rosaary today, July 26, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
