GUADALUPE “LUPE” MORA CEPEDA
SAN JUAN – Guadalupe “Lupe” Mora Cepeda, 54, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Veracruz, Mexico, Mrs. Cepeda lived in San Juan for the past 28 years. She was a strong-willed, single mother who raised her two children on her own.
Mrs. Cepeda is survived by her husband, Jose Gildardo Cornejo of San Juan; two children, Jorge Alberto Carrillo of McAllen and Marisol Carrillo of Pharr; five grandchildren, Jorge Alberto Carrillo, Jr., Casandra Nahyeli Carrillo both of McAllen, Edgar Alaini Cornejo, Krisol Alaina Cornejo, both of Pharr, Jan-Mariel Carrillo of McAllen; mother, Martha Lima Vasquez; sister Rosa Amalia Mora both of Reynosa, Mexico; four brothers, Eleanor Mora of Reynosa, Francisco Javier Mora of Veracruz, Mexico, Fausto Raul Mora of Pharr, Ramon Mora of Reynosa, Mexico.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, April 17, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Pallbearers will be Jose Cornejo, Jorge Alberto Carrillo, Jorge Carrillo, Jr., Raul Mora, Miguel Angel Diaz, Jesus Diaz.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
