PHARR — Pharr - Juan Jose De La Cerda, 58, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011.
Mr. De La Cerda was born in N.L. Mexico and had lived in Pharr all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Juan De La Cerda; two brothers, Rodolfo and Rene De La Cerda.
Juan is survived by his loving wife, Noelia De La Cerda of Pharr; six children, Denise (Fabian) Ramirez, Juan Jose (Nidia) De La Cerda Jr., Noe De La Cerda and Lynette De La Cerda all of Pharr, Ivonne (Cesar) Rodriguez of Eagle Pass, Tx, and Nireitha (Benito) Herrera of Alamo; 12 grandchildren; mother, Maria Dolores De La Cerda; four brothers, Reynaldo (Manuela) De La Cerda, Joel (Yolanda) De La Cerda, Jaime (Sylvia) De La Cerda and Francisco De La Cerda; three sisters, Evangelina Rodriguez, Ninfa (Arturo) Ramirez and Nelva (Ruben) Gaona.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, December 8, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83 in San Juan,Tx. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2011 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
