Ricardo Leonardo Chapa
Pharr – Ricardo Leonardo Chapa, 65, died Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Solara Hospital in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Leonarda Chapa; five brothers; and one sister.
Mr. Chapa is survived by his wife, Rosa Chapa, of Pharr; seven children, Silvia Garcia, Maria Isabel (Ernesto) Gomez, Emma (Edward) Martinez, all of Alamo, Dora (Cipriano) Gallardo, of McAllen , Ricardo L. (Marina) Chapa, Jr., of San Antonio, Texas, Zenaida Abigail Chapa, and Carlos Chapa, both of Pharr; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held Friday, September 9, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
