Ruben  Chavana

Ruben Chavana, 65, went home to our Lord Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Benito and Mary Lou Chavana; a sister, Dora Chavana.
Ruben is survived by his four children, Cynthia (Rogelio) Escalera of Port Lavaca, Miranda (Rigoberto) Garza II of San Antonio, Natasha (Fernando) Perales of El Paso, Janell Chavana of Katy; five grandchildren, Nikolas Escalera, Ariana Escalera, Liam Perales, Aria Perales, Rigoberto Garza III; one sister, Mary Chavana; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, November 20, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Interment of cremated remains will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
