MARIA DEL SOCORRO CHAVERO SANDATE
DONNA – Maria S. Chavero, 73, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at her residence in Donna.
Born in San Luis Potosi, MX, Mrs. Chavero had lived in Donna since 2012.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Jesus Sandate and Guillermo Sandate; and a sister, Josefina Sandate.
Maria is survived by her husband, Benito R. Chavero; four children, Maria S. Chavero, Ana Maria Fitchett, Jorge Alberto Chavero, Claudia Chavero; four grandchildren, Jessica Fitchett, Anthony Fitchett, Monica Chavero, Mia Chavero; a great-grandchild, Sera M. Fitchett; three siblings, Humberto Sandate, Benita Sandate, Gustavo Sandate; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
