Pharr– Florestela Ciccarello, 83, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Comfort House in McAllen.
Born in China, N.L., MX, Florestela lived in Pharr most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ciccarello; her parents, Mauricio and Dolores Chapa.
Mrs. Ciccarello is survived by a son, Mauricio Ciccarello of Pharr; five siblings, Benito (Mari) Chapa of Mexico D.F., Ninfa (+Roberto) Miranda of Cd. Madero, Tamps., MX, Ma. Dolores (+Rubio) Salinas of Pharr, Arnulfo Chapa of Monterrey, N.L., MX and Elizabeth (Juan Angel) Ibarra of Sta. Catarina N.L., MX; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, November 28, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Hiram Tavarez and his staff, and the staff at CIMA Hospice and Comfort House.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
