Flora Contreras, 94, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at San Juan Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Contreras; a son, Vidal Contreras; grandson, Eduardo Vidal Suarez; her parents, Cesario and Maria Mendoza.
Mrs. Contreras is survived by her 13 children, Ricardo Contreras, Nicolasa Palomo, Josefina (Eduardo) Suarez, Jose Luis (Bertha) Contreras, Yolanda (Jose A.) Castillo, Alejandra (Javier Parra) Contreras, Eloisa (Roy) Fernandez, Flora (Juan Manuel) Vazquez, Mercedes (Fernando) Hernandez, Natalia (Miguel) Dominguez, Luz (Raul) Zagal, Socorro (Alfredo) Varela, Abel (Norma) Contreras; 35 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; eight siblings.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday, August 6, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 8 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
