CLEMENTE CRUZ SAN JUAN – Clemente Cruz, 81, died Saturday, January 03, 2015, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Mr. Cruz was born in San Juan and lived there all of his life. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eloida Cruz; his parents, Silvestre and Micaela Cruz; and a brother. Clemente is survived by 12 children, Antonio (Sandra) Cruz of Pharr, Jose Guadalupe (Violeta) Cruz of California, Hilaria (Kepeth) Jones of San Antonio, Silvestre (Maria) Cruz of McAllen, Amador Cruz, Clemente Cruz, Jr, Amador Cruz, Esteban Cruz, all of San Juan, Maria Albesa Cruz, Micaela (Daniel) Salazar, both of McAllen, David (Christina) Cruz of Baltimore, MD, Juan Cruz of San Juan, Nazaia (Oscar) Valdez of McAllen; 32 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers; five sisters. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 and Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan. Cremation will take place Val Verde Memorial Garden in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
