CLEMENTINA “TINA” CRUZ
EDINBURG – Clementina “Tina” Cruz, 79, died Sunday, January 10, 2016, at Solara Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Mexico, she had lived in Edinburg all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Teodoro Cruz; and a son, Ezaquel Cruz.
Mrs. Cruz is survived by nine sons, Cipriano (Isabela) Cruz, of Houston, Javier Cruz, Olivero Cruz, Abran Cruz, Ben (Janie) Cruz, all of Edinburg, Eloy (Olga) Cruz, Nehemian (Maria Isabel) Cruz, both of San Juan, Ivan (Janie) Cruz, of McAllen; four daughters, Maria (†Juan) Contreras, Elodia (William) Gonzalez, Nora (Lorenzo) Guzman, all of Edinburg, Rosalinda (Jose) Fernandez, of Monte Alto; 41 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, January 11, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
