PHARR – Irma Garza Cruz 81, died Friday, April 15, 2016 at her residence in Tomball.
Born in Pharr, Texas, Irma had lived in Houston most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Santiago Cruz, Sr.; a son, Jose R. Cruz; three brothers, Lupe Garza, Chuy Garza, Reynaldo Garza; two sisters, Florinda Gonzalez and Margarita Diaz.
Irma is survived by her four children, Anita Ramona Ratliff of Katy, Javier Ruvaldi Cruz of San Antonio, Santiago Cruz, Jr. of Tomball, Joseph Theodore Cruz of Tomball; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Meme Diaz of Edinburg; and sister-in-law, Socorro Garza of Pharr.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, April 21, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2016, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
