ALAMO - David Lewis Culberson, 72, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Virginia Culberson; two brothers, John, and James; and a sister, Jane.
Mr. Culberson is survived by his wife, Benita Culberson of Alamo; six children, Andria (Ramon) Alvarez of Mission, David (Lela) Culberson of McAllen, George Culberson of Mission, Julie Culberson of Spring Branch, TX, Angie (Ramon) Culberson-Espinosa of McAllen, and Elisa (Gilbert Davila, Jr.) Culberson of Edinburg; ten grandchildren; Brenda Calderon, Meredith Culberson, Jillian Anderson, David West Culberson, Ramon Alvarez, III, Rio Alvarez, George E. Culberson, Audrey Anderson, Elise Espinosa, Andrew Espinosa.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton Rd. in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 8 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
