EDINBURG – Cynthia Alfaro, 62, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Alfaro is survived by her four children, Angelica Yolanda (Ruben) Barrera, Pedro Alejandro Matamoros, Javier Ruben (Eva) Matamoros, Cassandra Loren Matamoros; three grandchildren, Elijah Edmond De Leon Matamoros, Mars Ambrose Matamoros, Vicente Ruben Alfaro Barrera; parents, Ruben and Angelica Yolanda Alfaro; six siblings, Leticia Alfaro, Ruben Alfaro Jr., Eduardo Alfaro, Veroncia Cavazos, Armando Alfaro, and Elizabeth Mora.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Friday, December 29, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
