David Garcia

David Garcia, 84, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Hidalgo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edinburg.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Garcia; parents, Primitivo Garcia and Felicitas Ledesma Garcia; two brothers, Jose Garcia, Primitivo Garcia Jr.; and a sister, Alicia Lozona.

Mr. Garcia is survived by five children, Nora Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, Liza Garcia, Arnoldo Garcia, Velma Garcia; ten grandchildren, Eduardo Saenz III, Erika M. Saenz, Kassandra R. Gomez, Jackee N. Gomez, Daniel O. Maldonado III, Joe David Garcia, Ricardo Garcia Jr., Orlando Garcia, Brandon Garcia, Alex Garcia; five great- grandchildren, Janelle R. Saenz, Brendan Saenz, Janissa C. Rodriguez, Jazanae N. Rodriguez, Eric Garcia; four siblings, Luis (Tina) Garcia, Rodolfo (Julie) Garcia, Rogelio (+ Rosa) Garcia, and Daniel (Ramona) Garcia.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, Sunday, August 18, 202, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
