McALLEN - Dwight Dorsey, D.C., 72, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Dodge City, Kansas, Dr. Dorsey had lived in McAllen most of his life and was owner of Dorsey Chiropractic Clinic in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lula Dorsey; and three brothers, Jay Dorsey, Robert Dorsey and Kenneth Dorsey.
Dr. Dorsey is survived by his wife, Celia R. Dorsey of McAllen; three children, Dwight (Karen) Dorsey, Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Yvonne Moore of Carmine, Texas, and Larry (Cheryl) Dorsey of Denver, Colorado; two grandchildren, Aaron Scott and Sarah Rae Moore; and two brothers, Jack Dorsey of Derby, Kansas and Norman Dorsey of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm with a 7 pm rosary, today, May 21, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am, Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
