GUADALUPE GUTIERREZ DE ALVAREZ
SAN JUAN - Guadalupe Gutierrez de Alvarez, 93, entered eternal rest Monday, November 8, 2021.
Born in Mexico, Mrs. Alvarez had lived in San Juan for 30 years and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Alvarez; two sons, Raul and Jose Angel Alvarez; three sisters, Francisca Gutierrez de De Los Reyes, Dolores Andrade, and Maria Valdez; and two brothers, Armando and Pablo Gutierrez.
Guadalupe is survived by two children, Antonia Alvarez Silva, Pedro (Maria Elena Alfani) Alvarez Jr.; eight grandchildren, Michael Galaviz, Raul Anthony Alvarez, Cynthia T. Tiwana, Daniel Scott Silva, Veronica Maria Martinez, Sofia Raquel and Pedro A. Alvarez III, Justin Compean; and 12 great-grandchildren, Selina and Ragi Tiwana, Sophia R. Silva, James, Joey, Josh, and Jacob Galaviz; Violet, Scarlet, Sienna, Juniper, and Lavender Alvarez; two sisters, Esperanze Mireles and Carmela Gutierrez de Lara; and a brother, Jesus Gutierrez Herrera.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place in Hualahuises, Mexico.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
