MOISES DE LA GARZA
Pharr – Moises De La Garza, 63, died, Sunday August 7, 2016, at his residence in Pharr. Born in McAllen, TX, he had lived in Pharr for the past 15 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Roberto De La Garza, Sr, and his mother-in-law, Eluteria Duran of Pharr.
Moises is survived by his wife, Nelly De La Garza of Pharr; four daughters, Jennifer (Jason) Clay, Karin De La Garza, Becki (Brandon) Feyen, all of Houston, and Crystal (Carlos) Garcia, of Casa Grande, Arizona; a son, Manny Zuniga of Pharr; his mother, Maria Del Refugio De La Garza of McAllen; five grandchildren, Ethan, Cassidy, Elijah, Jack, and Isabelle; and three siblings, Roberto (Lucy) De La Garza of Alamo, Ester (Manuel) Galindo, of Harlingen, and Martha (+Raul) Ramirez, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, August 10, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
