AMERICO DE LA PAZ JR.
DONNA- Americo De La Paz Jr., 68, went home to our Lord Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Aurora House in Weslaco.
Born in Brownsville, Mr. De La Paz had lived in Donna most of his life and lived 18 years in Guymon, OK.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dionicia De La Paz; and his parents Americo and Virginia De La Paz.
Mr. De La Paz is survived by three sons, Americo (Ashley) De La Paz III of Guymon, OK, Leonardo De La Paz, Miguel (Sylvia) De La Paz, both of Donna; three daughters, Maribel Williams, Virginia (Tony Light) De La Paz both of Aurora, CO, Denise Reina (Juan Santiago) De La Paz of Guymon, OK; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, October 15, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
