Alberto De La Rosa Jr., 57, went home to the Lord Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in San Juan, Alberto lived in Edinburg for most of his life.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Arnold and Armando De La Rosa.
Alberto is survived by his loving wife, Rebeca De La Rosa of Edinburg; a son, Egypt Adam (Elaine) De La Rosa of Maryland; two daughters, Erica (Renee Ramirez) De La Rosa, Consuelo (Jesus Garces) De La Rosa, both of Edinburg; five grandchildren, Genesa De La Rosa of Alamo, Addison Dior De La Rosa, Egypt Alekzavier De La Rosa, both of Maryland, Jesnie Garces, Jaylanie Garces, both of Edinburg; his great-grandson, James Andrew Gomez; his parents, Consuelo and Alberto De La Rosa Sr. of Alamo; two sisters, Aurora Lopez of Oregon, Angela Salinas of San Juan; and four brothers, Andy De La Rosa of Alamo, Adam De La Rosa of West Virginia, Adrian De La Rosa of Pennsylvania, and Juan De La Rosa of Alamo.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
