EDINBURG – David Diaz, 47, died Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Chicago, IL, Mr. Diaz had lived in Edinburg most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Eulogio Diaz; and a brother, Victor Diaz.
Mr. Diaz is survived by two children, Kaitlyn Diaz and David Anthony Diaz, both of Edinburg; the mother of his children, Rosa Elia Leal, of Mission; his mother, Juanita Arevalo; two sisters, Mary Lopez of Virginia, Linda Reyna of Edinburg; three brothers, Cruz Diaz of Chicago, Heriberto Diaz of Edinburg, Jose Diaz of Colorado; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
