EULOGIO DIAZ EDINBURG - Eulogio Diaz, 82, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at his residence in Edinburg. Born in Mercedes, Mr. Diaz had lived in Edinburg since 1985. He was a husband and a father for 62 years. Eulogio was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. He was retired after 35 years of service with PVS Chemicals. Mr. Diaz was also the previous owner of La Mexicana Drive Inn Grocery Store. He is preceded in death by a son, Victor Diaz Eulogio is survived by his wife, Juanita Diaz of Edinburg; six children, Cruz (Cecilia) Diaz of Chicago, IL, Mary (Agustin) Lopez of Fairfax, VA, Heriberto Diaz of Edinburg, Jose Leonardo (Myra) Diaz of Pueblo CO, David Diaz and Linda (Polo) Reyna, both of Edinburg; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ricardo D. Hernandez of Edinburg, Pablo Diaz of South Bend, IN, Leonar Rojas of Dinuba, CA, Inocenio Diaz and Olivia Tello, both of Edinburg. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, October 12, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Ediinburg.
