JOSE MANUEL DRISCOLL
HIDALGO – Jose Manuel Driscoll, 79, went home to the Lord Saturday, November 16, 2019, at his residence in Hidalgo.
Born in Monclova Coahuila, Mexico, Jose lived in Hidalgo for over 40 years. He was pastor of Templo Sinai Bethesda in Las Milpas for 34 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria Monserrato and Tomas Driscoll.
Jose is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Maria Guilda Driscoll-Valdez of Hidalgo; four children, Guilda Elizabeth Driscoll of San Antonio, Edna Aide Driscoll of Hidalgo, Anayancy Patricia Driscoll-Luna of Edinburg, Jose Manuel Driscoll Jr. of Mission; 12 grandchildren; and nine siblings, Ramona Driscoll of Alabama, Mercedes Gonzalez of Hidalgo, Antonia Gonzalez of Mission, Anita Driscoll of Reynosa, Gloria Vasquez of McAllen, Victoria Cortez, Irma Lopez, both of Mission, Tomas Driscoll Jr. of Victoria, and Sylvia Recio of Rio Grande City.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 18, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Templo Sinai Bethesda in Pharr, and from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
