CECIL DUNCAN EDINBURG - Cecil Duncan, 80, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Santa Rosa, TX, Mr. Duncan had lived in Edinburg most of his life. He is preceded in death by his father, Edgar Duncan; and step-mother, Hattie Duncan. Cecil is survived by his wife, Jane Duncan of Edinburg; three daughters, Arlene Post of San Antonio, TX, Dana (Ronny) Villarreal of Edinburg, Linda (Scott) Rogers of Lehigh Acres, FL; three grandsons, four granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; a step-brother, Paul Truitt of Edinburg. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. funeral service, Monday, October 7, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Pallbearers will be: Alex Villarreal, Billy Villarreal, G.A. Villarreal, Ronny Villarreal, Scott Rogers and Gary Gobel. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
