ELIAS RAUL LUNA SR.
EDINBURG - Elias Raul Luna Sr., 81, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024, at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas O. Luna Jr. and Francisca Chavez; and brother, Eduardo Luna.
Mr. Luna is survived by his wife, San Juanita M. Garcia; four children, Maria Graciela Verastegui, Elias Raul (Martha) Luna Jr., Nicolas O. (Monica) Luna, Michael Lee Lemus; three step-children, Alejandro Garcia, Marina (Juan) Rodriguez, Corina (Roy) Estrada; 20 grandchildren, three siblings, Elivorio (Maria) Luna, Eulalia (Felipe) Hernandez, Hector (Yolanda) Luna; and sister-in-law, Olga Luna.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
