ERNESTO ELISSETCHE ALAMO — Ernesto Elissetche, 96, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edinburg. Born in Mexico he had lived in Alamo most of his life. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Concepcion Elissetche. Mr. Elissetche is survived by his six children Juan (Manuela) Elissetche of Elsa, Gilberto (Florencia+) Elissetche of Pharr, Guadalupe (Mario) Guerra of Edinburg, Zulema (Jose Luis) Guerra of Alamo, Jorge Luis (Margarita) Elissetche of Weslaco, Maria Antonia (Jomero) Cazares Elissetche of Edinburg; numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
