EDINBURG – Rodolfo Galvan Elizondo, 72, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at McAllen Medical Center.
Mr. Galvan Elizondo was born in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico and had lived in Edinburg for 30 years.
Mr. Galvan Elizondo is survived by his wife, Dominga Galvan; 13 children, Sara (Jorge) Silva, Dominga (Mario) Guerrero, Miguel (Belinda) Galvan, Altagracia (Eliodoro) Rendon, Rodolfo (Diana) Galvan, Estefana (Jorge) Reynoso, San Martin (Maria) Galvan, Emma (Roberto) Leal, Jorge Luis (Juana Julia) Galvan, Guadalupe (Irene) Galvan, Pedro (Elsa) Galvan, Evaristo (Amanda) Galvan, Alma Lydia (Christian) Uribe; 53 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Roberto Galvan, Rodrigo Galvan, Pedro Galvan and Juan Galvan; and three sisters, Alma Galvan, Maria Isabel Galvan and Irene Galvan.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, August 6, 2009, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2009, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
