EDINBURG – Manuel Enriquez, Jr., 104, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Retama Manor Nursing Center in Edinburg.
Born in Karnes City, Mr. Enriquez had lived in Edinburg Most of his life.
He is preceded in death by three children, Guadalupe Enriquez, Gilbert Enriquez, Ruben Enriquez; his parents, Manuel Enriquez, Sr. and Filomena Enriquez; and five siblings, Apolonio Enriquez, Guadalupe Enriquez, Anselmo Enriquez, Donicia Enriquez and Frances Enriquez.
Mr. Enriquez is survived by his wife, Maclovia Enriquez; four children, Gloria Enriquez, Mena Gonzalez, Janie Zuniga, all of Edinburg, Anita “Kika” Ramos of Angleton, TX; 20 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, November 25, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
