ERMINIA MENDOZA CERDA
PHARR– Erminia Mendoza Cerda, 83, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Guillermo and Sofia Mendoza; in laws, Francisco and Amparo Cerda.
Erminia is survived by her husband, Genaro Cerda; one child, Genaro Cerda Jr.; eight siblings, Ramona Rebecca (Reynaldo) Cano, Estela Cavazos, Maria Mendoza Cannolly, Juan Leonardo Mendoza, Francisco Amado (Matilde) Mendoza, Guillermo Mendoza Jr., Irene (Benito) Quesada and Margarita (Arturo) Morales.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary, Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2025, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
