JULIA M. ESCAMILLA

SAN JUAN – Julia M. Escamilla, 85, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011,
at her residence in San Juan.

Born in Raymondville, Mrs. Escamilla lived in Pharr most of her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fulgencio Escamilla.

She is survived by six sons, Jose Escamilla of Dallas, Texas, Arturo Escamilla
of Indiana, Armando Escamilla of San Juan, Erasmo Escamilla of Pharr,
J.C. Escamilla of San Juan, and Juan Escamilla of Austin, Texas; three
daughters, Guadalupe Vigil of Valle Hermoso, Tamps, Mexico, Minne Mora
and Carmen Segovia, both of San Juan; 29 grandchildren; 54
great-grandchildren; a brother, Francisco Escamilla of Houston, Texas;
two sisters, Angelita Cervantes of McKinney, Texas and Aurelia Garza of
Pharr.

A rosary was held Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Memorial Funeral
Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. today,
December 30, 2011 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Pharr . Interment
will follow at Magic Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in
San Juan.
