Isidro " El Fierro" El Cheater Pipe" Escobar

Isidro "El Fierro" "El Cheater Pipe" Escobar, 79, went home to our Lord, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Colonial Manor in Pharr.
Born in San Carlos, Mr. Escobar had lived in La Blanca from 1972 to 1996 and had been residing in Pharr for the past 16 years.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Maria Eva Escobar; a grandson, Hector Escobar; his parents, Bruno and Olivia L. Escobar; and a brother, Alejandro Escobar.
Mr. Escobar is survived by his four children, Robert (Estela) Escobar, Isidro (Rita) Escobar Jr., both of Edinburg, Debra (Leo) Gutierrez of Mercedes, and Irma (Juan) Guerrero of Edinburg; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six siblings, Oralia Perez of San Antonio, Minerva Rodriguez of San Carlos, Alicia Cura of Palmhurst, Bruno (Rocio) Escobar of La Joya, Elva Escobar of Houston, Lillian Rodriguez of Dallas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary today, April 4, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take at 2 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
