ADOLPH “FITO” ESCOBEDO
PHARR – Adolph “Fito” Escobedo, 46, died Thursday, June 30, 2016, at McAllen Heart Hospital.
Born in Laredo, TX, he had lived in Pharr most of his life and was a Veteran of the US Army.
He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Escobedo Sr.
Fito is survived by his wife, Patricia Escobedo; six children, Chelsea R. Escobedo, Adolph Escobedo Jr., Anjanette Garza, mark Fabian Garza, Julissa R. Garza, Horacio Garza; nine grandchildren; his mother, Aurelia Altamirano; a brother, Edward Escobedo Jr.; and a sister, Laura I. Salazar.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, July 4, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. Military honors will be conducted by Catholic War Veterans.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
