Isabel Escobedo

SAN JUAN – Isabel Escobedo, 59, died Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg. Born in Ralls, Tx., Isabel lived in San Juan most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Celedonia and Andres Escobedo; and a brother, Antonio Escobedo.
Mr. Escobedo is survived by his wife of 36 years, Guadalupe Escobedo of San Juan, a son, Israel (Celessia) Escobedo of Edinburg, a daughter, Michelle Escobedo of San Juan; 11 siblings, Luis (Ashley) Escobedo of Seguin, Odilia Plemons of Etowah, TN., Herminia Escobedo of McAllen, Julian (Guadalupe) Escobedo of Alamo, Leonel Escobedo of Edinburg, Oscar (Blanca) Escobedo of McAllen, Erineo Escobedo of Edinburg, Sonia (Alvaro) Garcia of El Paso, TX., Carmen Escobedo of McAllen, Estela (Michael) Black of Athens, TN., and Melba (Carlos) Garza of McAllen; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, May 19, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will follow.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
