Simon Escobedo Jr.

SIMON ESCOBEDO, JR. ALAMO – Simon Escobedo, Jr., 33, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015, in San Angelo, TX. Born in Edinburg, he had lived in Alamo all of his life. Simon is survived by his wife, Ansley Escobedo of Alamo; two daughters, Lexi Rae Escobedo of Mission, Samira Taylor Escobedo of Alamo; his parents, Carolina and Simon Escobedo, Sr. of Alamo; a brother, Juan (Karla) Escobedo of Alamo; and three sisters, Cristina (Eddie) Coronado, Cassandra Escobedo, both of Donna, and Seleena Escobedo of Alamo. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Friday, January 16, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
