Gilberto "Don Beto" Espinoza

GILBERTO "DON BETO" ESPINOZA EDINBURG - Gilberto "Don Beto" Espinoza, 89, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at his residence in Edinburg. Mr. Espinoza was born in Edinburg and had lived there all of his life. He is preceded in death by a son, Jose Ernesto Espinoza. Gilberto is survived by his wife, Maria Luisa Espinoza; eight children, Gilberto Espinoza Jr., Diana (Jose Luis) Cantu, Marcelina Diaz, Mario Espinoza, Olga (Andrew) Quintanilla, Yolanda Espinoza, Javier Espinoza, Joel Espinoza; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, March18, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
