ALBERTO ESTRADA
SAN JUAN - Alberto Estrada, 84, died Thursday, April 23, 2009 at his residence in San Juan.
Born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Mr. Estrada had lived in San Juan for the past 35 years. He retired from La Virgen de San Juan del Valle after 14 years.
He is preceded in death by a son, Alberto Estrada, Jr.
Mr. Estrada is survived by his wife, Ramona Estrada; eleven children, Fela (Roberto) Rivera, Celia (Aurelio) Lucio, Ofelia Martinez, Tina (Miguel) Cedillo, Esther (Fernando) Flores, Erasto (Mary) Estrada, Rogelio Estrada, Yoli (Efrain) Chapa, Joel (Dora) Estrada, Janie (David) Casarez and Miranda (Rufino) Vela; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Isabel Estrada and Pedro Estrada.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm with a 7 pm rosary, today, April 26, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am, Monday, April 27, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
