JOSE JAVIER “ACE” ESTRADA SAN JUAN — Jose Javier “ACE” Estrada, 46, died Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg. Born in McAllen, Jose Javier lived in San Juan all of his life. Mr. Estrada was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he enjoyed having BBQ’s with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Javier Estrada; his father, Francisco Estrada; and uncle, Jose Martinez. Mr. Estrada is survived by his mother, Oralia Estrada; one brother, Jaime (Erica) Estrada; two nieces, Lilian Estrada, Julianne Estrada; and aunt, Emilia Martinez, all of San Juan. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, April 13, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Estrada family would like to thank the caregivers of Amara Hospice Facility in Edinburg, for the compassion, professionalism, and tender care they extended to Jose Javier, as well, as his aunts and uncles. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
