"LALO" LOPEZ
PHARR/ EDINBURG - Lalo Lopez, 84, died Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at San Juan Nursing Home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Anastacio Lopez and Blacita Lopez Briones Castaneda; his stepfather, Ramon Castaneda; three brothers, Ismael Lopez, Raul Lopez, and Ramiro Lopez; two sisters, Magdalena Galvan and Angelita Lopez.
Lalo is survived by his wife, Beatrice Lopez of Edinburg; three brothers, Ruben Lopez of Pharr, Julian Lopez of San Juan, Rolando Castaneda of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2025, at St.John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
